How work this Extension?
The Advanced tabs extension is ready to build a custom structure as you need. Just need to activate the extension from the plugin Extensions tab and save the settings.
Once you have enabled the extension, a new widget will be available in the Elementor editor on the WAW Add-ons & Extensions category.
How to configure the Widget?
This widget includes options configure:
- Layout: to choose between display it in horizontal or vertical.
- Enable Icon: to choose if display an icon on each tab or not.
- Icon Position: to choose between display the icon stacked or inline.
- Linkable tabs: By activating this option, the tabs will get a slug and can be linked from the same page using your custom links and also from external pages.
- Keep visited tab: By activating this option, the tabs will have the ability to remain open after refreshing the page, keeping the user on the last visited tab.
- Content: to build all the tabs and the content as you need. The content can be added as Text/HTML or using saved Elementor templates.
It is also very customizable in terms of styles, it has style options to customize each element individually, as well as:
- General
- Tab Title
- Content
- Caret
- Responsive controls
Compatible Widgets
You can also use your custom links as tabs, linking with each content and hiding the by default tabs.
The widget is compatible with the following Elementor widgets:
- Text widget:Â You can build your custom links using this widget and adding on each link the class “wawcustomtablink”
- Button widget: You can build your custom links using this widget and adding on each button the class “wawcustom”
- Icon widget: You can build your custom links using this widget and without add any class.
- Icon Box widget: You can build your custom links using this widget and without add any class.
- Icon List widget: You can build your custom links using this widget and without add any class.

The options linkable tabs and Keep visited tabs will work with the by default tabs and also with the compatible widgets, redirecting to the linked content and keeping the last visited tab after refresh the page.
